PLEASE PRAY
Please pray for my sister in law's friend Maria and her husband Andy. Maria and Andy adopted 2 children from Guatemala, a boy and a girl. Both children were adopted as infants.
Tragically they lost their little 4 year old girl Anna 2 nights ago. Apparently she had a fever for a couple of days. The fever had gotten as high as 104 and she was feeling stomach pains so her mother drove her to the urgent care clinic. The clinic called for an ambulance and Anna passed away on her way to the hospital. The family is devastated.
My sister in law called me yesterday with more details, apparently little Anna had leukemia. This is a child that was completely healthy with no other serious symptoms other than a fever, but this is what the blood tests have revealed.
Please keep this young sweet couple and their six year old son in your prayers. Pray that the good Lord comforts them and fills their void with His loving presence and brings an army of support around them.

ReplyDeleteOh Sophie, I will definitely pray for Maria and Andy ~ my heart just breaks into pieces for them and their loss. How truly devastating! Praying for God's divine comfort and grace during this incredibly difficult time. So sad. May they find comfort and rest in the love of other and under the Shadow of the Almighty. <><
ReplyDeleteOh My- I am so sorry to hear this. I read your post earlier and have been praying for them but was not able to comment at that time.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds so much like the our friends who lost their 8 yr old boy from Guatemala. My friends still don't have an answer as to why he died.
So sad to lose these precious children.
